The motherline of Nikkei d’O is one of our most succesfull bloodlines.
Jo Jo d’O’s first dam, Noisette des Vaux, is the mother of the approved Hos d'O, who jumped at 1.60 level under the saddle of Harrie Smolders and is now jumping in Canada with Wesley Newlands. Noisette has four male offspring, two of which are approved stallions: Hos d'O and Istacum d'O. In addition, she already has an approved grandson, Jus d'O, out of For a Few Dollars More.
Noisette des Vaux who descends from the famous stallion Cumano (Cassini I) of Jos Lansink. Cumano has dozens of offspring jumping at national and international level. Hos d'O's second dam Altesse Desvaux jumped internationally herself.
Jo Jo also has an approved stallion: Origi d’O. He was sold at the age of 3 at the BWP Top Stallion Auction. Origi became one of the auction leaders and moved to Germany for 81,000 euros. Stallion farm Sven Völz became the new owner, and fortunately he also presented Origi at the third phase of the BWP Stallion Selection. There he more than lived up to his expectations. Later, Origi was also approved for the German studbooks Oldenburg, Holstein and Hannover.
The sire of Nikkei, Diamant de Semilly, needs no introduction. Placed ‘best stallion in the world’ (2015 and 2016 WBFSH Jumping Sires Rankings), the quality of his offspring is unanimously recognized and looked forward. Exceptional showjumper himself, Diamant de Semilly transmits to his offspring with an impressive regularity his strong back, scope, great balance, wonderful canter, suppleness, power, uncommon ease and super willingness.
End 2019, Nikkei d'O was sold to Marco en Vittoria Vignale (ITA).
