Rosaline's first dam is Luna d'O, the full sister of the approved Hos d'O, who jumped at 1.60 level under the saddle of Harrie Smolders and is now jumping in Canada with Wesley Newlands.
Luna d'O is a daughter of the international jumping stallion Dollar de la Pierre (Quidam de Revel x Foudre de Guerre), better known in the ring as Tlalloc la Silla. In Dollar de la Pierre the best sire lines of France are united. Sire Quidam de Revel was one of the best performing stallions of his generation in the showjumping arena and is also highly regarded in breeding. Dollar's dam Lorripierre jumped internationally at 1.60m level and won the French championship in 1984. Dollar de la Pierre's own sports career is also impressive. For Mexico he competed at the Sydney Olympics and a year later he won the class Sires of the World at Zangersheide. With Reynald Angot the stallion belonged to the French jumping team that won gold at the 2002 World Equestrian Games in Jerez de la Frontera. A year later team silver was won at the European Championship. Dollar's dam Lorripierre jumped internationally at 1.60m level.
The second dam of Rosaline d'O is the mare Noisette des Vaux who descends from the famous stallion Cumano (Cassini I) of Jos Lansink. Cumano has dozens of offspring jumping at national and international level. Luna d'O's granddam Altesse Desvaux jumped internationally herself at 1m60 level.
Rosaline's sire Casall needs little introduction. Ridden by Rolf-Göran Bengtsson, Casall is one of the absolute top horses on the international jumping circuit. A few years ago, he reached the top 25 at all the major championships;
Cassal as a sire has an equally impressive record. His damline is one of the most successful Holsteiner performance mare families.
