Bo d’O is a mare with a story as exceptional as her talent. She was conceived in the pastures of 't Overdijk after her sire, Tornad’O, quite literally wandered into the wrong field.
But sometimes, the best things happen by chance. By the age of five, Bo had already made a name for herself, becoming one of the Belgian Champions thanks to nine clear rounds in the Classic Cycle for young horses. At seven, she finished 10th in the overall standings for her age group.
That same year, Bo was sold through Stal Hendrix to Canada, where she competed under the name Eleonora with rider Jenn Serek. In 2012, the pair won the World Cup Qualifier in Langley and were selected for the Canadian Nations Cup Team. By March 2013, Bo had climbed to 497th place in the FEI World Rankings.
In 2017, we received the sad news that Bo had passed away while giving birth to a colt. Her legacy lives on through her offspring and outstanding sporting achievements.
